SHORELINE STING MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT

What:    Middle/High School Softball Tournament.  Travel Teams 12U will play in Middle School.  14U/16U/18U will play in High School unless all of your 14Us are in Middle School

Where:    Coginchaug High School Durham, Ct and other sites TBD

When:    October 27-28

Limit of Teams:   8 teams in each division.  Minimum of 4 in each division.

Number of games:   3 games on Saturday and single elimination on Sunday.

Fee:    $350 Payable to Shoreline Sting.  Mail to 8 Partridge Lane, Clinton, Ct. 06413

Insurance:    Unless you are a Sting Fall Team or Sting Travel Team

Eligibility:    Must be a student in Middle School or High School

Registration:    Contact Ray Ezell (H) 860-669-3321 © 860-860-3060.  Deadline for registering: Sunday October 21 unless 8 team limit reached earlier.

 ASA rules will apply unless noted below:

1. 1 hr and 20 min on Saturday and 1 hr 30 min on Sunday except finals (no time limit)
2. Courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher will be last batted out.
3. Run rule will be 15,12, and 10 after 3, 4, and 5^th inning respectfully.
4. Team trophies for 1^st and 2^nd place and individual medals for players.
5. Sportsmanship by players, coaches, and fans is be expected. Violators may be removed from tourney depending on severity of situation.
6. For seeding: record, head to head, runs against, and coin flip.
7. The format of returned $$$ in case of bad weather: no games $300, 1 game $200, and 2 games no refund.

9. The tournament director has the right to do whatever is necessary to complete the tournament because of inclement weather or unforeseeable emergencies.
